This statement describes how I feel as an artist to a T! Photography is where I go to relax, push myself and see beauty in all things and relationships. I look forward to sharing with you sneak peaks of sessions, personal musings and general tidbits of what I hold so near to my heart.
Shona Reid Photography is located in Ottawa, Ontario, and is a member of the National Association of Professional Child Photographers (NAPCP) and the Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (WPPI).
The Polar Express! Jack decided that on his last day in our home, he’d wrangle some of his friends into a train ride…with all the marshmallows he’s used up over the past 4 weeks, I’m sure he must of had some hot chocolate along the way!! You’re singing the song from the movie now right, aren’t you?! 
We will miss our wee Jack, but look forward to his return next December 1st!

Yup, after shoving poor Barbie back into her sleeping bag:
Jack decided it was time for a little day at the spa…I guess he’s a little worn out from 22 trips back and forth to the North Pole!!
Hard to believe tomorrow will be our last morning with the little guy! A job well done

Well, Jack’s hiding abilities fooled me this morning! Much better than a clear glass! He went deep undercover as the Big Guy himself on a covert mission to fool us all. Well done young grasshopper, well done!

ps These crafts are so cute! The kids’ uncle made them with them when we went to the Canuck’s, err, Senators game (*ducks from pucks flying at my head!*). Oh and did I mention the Canuck’s won 4-1
Well, Jack…interesting choice of spot today. Nice that you wanted to cuddle Baby Jesus, but aren’t you a little bit big for his manger?

The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear! Thought I heard popcorn popping and giggling last night, but figured it was just a dream…guess I’m a cotton-headed ninny-muggins after all!!

Yup, Jack outdid himself the previous night, then followed up his fun filled night with an “Elf Open House”, so by the time he got back to our house, he was plum tuckered out and just felt like “hangin’ around”! However, our 7 year old’s reaction was pretty funny. “Mom! Look where the snowflake is!? That’s GOTTA hurt!”

ps. I’d like to say I used a texture to make the streaks on my windows in photoshop, but nope! My sliding glass windows are that dirty…what’s it to ya?
Poor Jack must have been a wee bit chilled after his trip to the North Pole last night (temperatures dropped in Ottawa and we even have a skiff of snow now!)…He pulled the Adirondack chair off the tree, grabbed a make shift “fire pit”, a toothpick and roasted some marshmallows! I do believe he acquired the hat and toque off of a wine bottle Ya outdid yourself this time buddy!
